Skeletal Muscles of the Human Body - Músculos del cuerpo humano

 The musculoskeletal system, also known as the locomotor system, is responsible for the movement of the human body and consists of the skeletal system and the muscular system; the two systems work together, with the skeletal system being the passive part and the muscular system being the active part, allowing voluntary movement. There are approximately 206 bones and more than 600 skeletal muscles in the human body. The following diagram show the main skeletal muscles of the human body.

  

El sistema musculoesquelético, también conocido como aparato locomotor, es responsable del movimiento del cuerpo humano y está formado por el sistema esquelético y el sistema muscular; los dos sistemas funcionan juntos, siendo el sistema esquelético la parte pasiva y el sistema muscular la parte activa, que permite el movimiento voluntario. En el cuerpo humano hay aproximadamente 206 huesos y más de 600 músculos esqueléticos.
